A verse I’ve been studying this week and decided to memorize really warmed my soul this week. Wanted to encourage you with it as well, the awesomeness of God’s love and “RICH” mercy towards us!

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ when we were dead in our transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5

Take time to meditate on God’s love for you today, not just how you know it intellectually and theologically, but in the simple pleasure it is to be loved by God like crazy. Take a moment to think of the past years he’s had you on this earth, and the ways He has showed you his rich abiding mercy, from the time when he made you alive with Christ, ripping you from your sinful ways that were leading you to destruction, to the constant daily provisions over your life…and all of this as a gift of grace, just because He wanted to.
