I just wanted you to know that I so appreciate the work you and all of the volunteers do. For the last 2 years at another church, our son refused to go to youth functions. However, there is something different about Mclean – it isn’t just about having fun. He wanted to go. We so appreciate the fact that you haven’t sold out the youth program to “fun and games,” but there is real spiritual learning going on. Thank you!!!! The volunteers who pour into my son will never know how much it means to me and what an impact it makes on our children! I just wanted you to know how thankful we are for you and for all the people who work with the youth program. All of you who volunteer in the ROCK are making a difference in our son’s life.

As a student, I just wanted to thank you so much for your consistent concern for my life since I came to the ROCK. It has been very challenging for me. You all help me to remember that our time here is just temporary and that it could be over instantly whether you’re young or old. I was thinking about my going to public high school for the first time ever, and I decided that I wanted to make a public declaration that I am a believer in Jesus and He is the only way to get through life, because I might not have a next year. So, I really wanted to thank you all for helping me to remember that my life matters only for the Lord and He is the only one worth living for in this life.

Thank you for the listening ear always, it really helped a lot. I really appreciate all that you all do not only for me but all the students in the ROCK. Thanks for taking time out of your life to invest in mine.
