God answered so many specific prayers during our mission trip with ORPHANetwork.

The orphans we visited in Nicaragua are a reflection of Christ, and they showed it in their love for us and their love for each other. I will never forget how on Tuesday, July 7th, we went to a home where a missionary couple taught the kids about Christ. We conducted a VBS for them in the morning and then planned to take them to a local gym for pizza and games. About the time we were wrapping up, it started to pour down rain so we all gathered on the small porch, and the kids began singing songs about God. It was moving to hear the name of God proclaimed from children AND in another language. Many people prayed on that porch for the rain to stop so we could get the kids to the bus. Then just as quickly as it started, it promptly ended, and we headed off.

Later, we were at the beach with the kids. When we were ready to leave the beach, again it started to pour down rain…and more than one of us were concerned about the potentially rough boat ride back. No sooner than we had started trekking back to the boats, the skies opened up, the sun came out, and we had the smoothest ride on the boats we’d ever had…. God never ceased to amaze us there.
