Announcing new MBC Director of Adult Ministries

My wife, Jennifer (Jen) and I count it a great privilege and joy to be serving the Lord in this new exciting adventure in our backyard of Loudoun County. We both understand we have large shoes to fill with Justin and Amy Pearson heading off to seminary; however, we are thrilled to serve our great God in this new role.

A little background history on the two of us – Jen and I both grew up outside of Rochester, New York and met after college while serving the Lord in a church in Ithaca, New York. Jen currently works for Loudoun County Public Schools and is now serving as a dean in a local middle school. I’ve come from a finance/accounting background having worked most recently with Jill’s House, Inc., a respite care center that will support special needs children and their families. Jen and I have called MBC our church home for several years now and have seen relationships and friendships built that will last a lifetime.

This morning I walked into my new office, and I saw a message of greeting on the dry-erase board from a friend. It said, “…Keep Jesus First, It’s the most important thing you can do!” I’m an ordinary guy that continues to be amazed at what the Lord accomplishes through my life for His glory. It is my goal to keep Jesus Christ in the forefront of everything I do in all areas of my life. Jen and I covet your prayers, and we look forward to serving you in any way that we can as we start this new journey.
