There are several families here at MBC Loudoun with children who are just starting their educational careers. These families were invited to attend the Kindergarten Kickoff this past Sunday. The staff introduced themselves and shared their goal of being partners with the parents/guardians in teaching the children about the Bible. MBC Loudoun gives us access to simple yet powerful resources.

Children will be bringing home brightly colored cards. These are tools for adults and children to talk about the lessons from the Bible. Any time we can have the words from the Bible present in our hearts and minds we are giving ourselves the chance to be closer to our Father. Use these tools throughout your week so that our children begin to understand that the development of this relationship is constant, not just one that is considered on Sundays.

This is such an exciting moment in these children’s lives, and it is critical for us as parents/guardians to share this time with these children. We have an amazing opportunity to help our children develop one of the most powerful and important relationships in their lives. While we learn about who Jesus is, we can demonstrate to our offspring how to live holy lives.
