The Unexpected Adventure, Week 1

The Unexpected Adventure has begun. What a wonderful kick-off we had over the weekend with the cake and balloons, and of course, the ‘adventure drama’ during the services. Nothing like a little humor to punctuate the start of our journey together. I find myself moving through the day with an eager anticipation for what God is going to do. I am praying each day – throughout the day – that God will just open doors for our people to have spiritual conversations. It’s not our job to bring people to Christ – that’s the job of the Holy Spirit. Our job is to simply respond to the Spirit’s promptings when a door opens in front of us. Many times I believe that there may be a door right there in front of me, but I don’t see it. So I am praying for new eyes for all of us. God bless you today.
