Turkey Outreach Loudoun 2010
by Susie Battle, Directer of Ministry Teams @ MBC Loudoun
Saturday, November 20, was a powerful day. The MBC Loudoun community rallied together to do an extension of Turkey Outreach in Loudoun County.
Dozens of families met together in the parking lot of Giant in Ashburn Village to assemble turkey boxes for 70 Loudoun County families.

Each box included Thanksgiving dinner supplies to feed 10 people as well as a Gospel of John, information on MBC Loudoun, and an invitation to take advantage of our home repair ministry, His Hands.
We prayed for all of those who would be receiving the boxes…
…and headed out to our distribution site in Purcellville. Thanks to our hospitality team, the site was very festive and welcoming!
Pastor Jim shared with those receiving the boxes why we were doing it and the significance of Christ.
We delivered a box to each family who came and offered to pray with them.
It was a touching day. We pray we and the families are impacted by Christ’s love.
